help with wireless network adapter/WMP54GS

My PC unable to boot as soon as I install a Linksys network adapter.
I installed the adapter after win xp pro was up and running.
Any idea?

take it out again, and check the machine still works.

is it unable to post or unable to boot ?
if it posts, check the post screen for IRQ sharing, maybe just need to change which PCI slot it is in
