You mean you don't want to use phpBB anymore? Or, you just want to move it somewhere else?

Use the restore database feature in the phpBB control panel.

Yes, unless they (or anyone) writes a database conversion script for the database.

For Access, you will first have to convert the mySQL database to Access database and then convert the Access database to the message board standard. HTML has nothin’ to do with the information database unless you convert it to a ‘flat file’ database (slow for large boards).

You should install phpBB again and use the restore feature, it spares you the headaches!
