Depends what's in the system. My VP6 with two 700s@933 and a Radeon 32DDR (pre 7200) gets about 4000 with some tweaking. The game box gets 17000, but then it has a p4 2.26 @ 2.8 and a Radeon 9700.

That's the anchor, yes. 3dmark is a graphics bench and as you can guess, it stresses the card the most. You'd be shocked how many people are running around with MX-level cards whining about how low their scores are. No offense to you or anyone else, but it just blows me away how people like to team really fast processors with insufficient amounts of memory, slow hard drives, and really, really old graphics cards, then expect the system to perform well.
