Post by Dave Rave »

was reading Garfield....

http://www.garfield.com/comics/comics_a ... 5-ga050106
http://www.garfield.com/comics/comics_a ... 5-ga050111

and went to the root directory at
http://www.ucomics.com

and the list includes C&H. he's so whacky.....
and it says under Next/Previous, no next date....
so I goes for previous, and then next, and look.....
today is the 11th anniversary of the demise of Calvin & Hobbes.
ahhh, the world is poorer..... 8)

So true.

What I do at work is maintain a "comics" server. There are several Linux packages out there that will pull comics from the web and set up a single page with all of the comics you want to see, so you don't have to visit a 20 different sites to see the comics you want tot see every day. Needless to say, C&H is on my list of comics.

The server is quite popular as well with my coworkers.

Read this article to get a picture of what is out there. I use Dailystrips that seems to be a bit outdated. I have been meaning to take a closer look at the others mentioned in the article but I haven't had the time (as usual).
