Haven´t played it yet. Is it more like Midnight Club 2 or like the older NFS series games?

I think it's one of the better NFS games, but one of the features I don't like is the inability to damage your car. I have almost beaten the game; I started of with the Mazda Miata, and recently bought a Nissan Skyline.

NFS Porsche Unleashed is my all-time favourite game!

Like this one?

I´m not into cars, but this one looks nice. Not overstyled. Looks a bit like a Porsche IMO.

I second Derek on NFS V. It has it all: Nice driving physics, friendly and fun damage model, nice tracks (no circuits), customizable cars.

I liked Hot Pursuit 2, too, because graphics are even better. But the only advantage of those car physics is that you can nicely steer via keyboard (for a friend sitting at your second PC), there´s no damage, and the helicopter thing is... umm... questionable... :D

What´s that mean? My English is at it´s very limit

This is off-topic, but I have to tell that just managed to run NFS 5 again on my gaming rig. It didn´t start for some time, thought the old installation was corrupted. Wrong. Now I was told there is a "gimme.dll" in the game directory that may need to be removed or renamed if you want to play NFS5 with W2K or XP. Worked perfectly for me. Had always played Porsche under Win98SE before, so...

Btw, what about a BP6.com / NFS Porsche online session sometime? Derek? kuun?

Is that an example of what they call "US English"?

I've often been asked what language I speak when I install software, and that's the closest I can find to my native "English" English.

But then, I don't know what Dubya means when he talks about "New-killer weapons".

And I say Alumin-i-um instead of A-loo-min-um.

And Tom-aaaaaaaa-to.

Let's call the whole thing off! :D

Heh, I had an argument with an American girl recently, who swore blind that this man's name was pronounced "Van Go".

Heh, ignore my ranting; I was in a mischievous mood. :)

Need For Speed must be one of the longest running PC driving games. I remember the first one coming out when I'd just got a Pentium 100MHz.
