LOTR: The Return Of The King

Post by InactiveX »

Loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it.

Oh yeah, I loved it as well.

I thought the battle scenes were good in the other films, but this trounced them all.

Just wish he'd cut some of the shmaltzy bits and put some of Christopher Lee's Saruman character in.

And why does Legolas always get the corny bits?

3+ hours of jaw-dropping magic.

A question

Post by duellius »

Hola!

Let me first say that I really enjoyed the movie - it was the first one I've watched more than once in the theater since The Two Towers.

But...

Did anybody else think the Oliphant scene was a bit too much like the Empire Strikes Back? You know, when the Imperial Walkers advance on the Rebel base?

Just a thought,
Duellius

You know, I never thought of that. Now that you bring it up I think you’re right.
