That sounds like a good idea, but I dont know how you would go about doing it (sorry).

You can probably use the video card in the lap tops if they still work. I took my dell apart the other day to see what was in it and the video is a seperate board.

Dunno if this is to any interest to ya but a lot of guys are building projectors and using old laptop LCD's in the process..

Might be a good project if ya have the skills and are willing to read a lot.
