i assume you mean like a cpu usage monitor. rainmeter is nice and will display both cpu useages and lots more if you set it up too do so (requires making a skin for it basically unless you find one you like).
i use rainmeter on litestep

most of the actual useable motherboards i have laying around will be used as i always find some random use for them. The ones i know i wont use are the 386 ones (though i also have 386 to 486 daughtercard upgrades for them but still i dont use them). No socket 7s though, just lots and lots of socket...

Motherboard monitor doesnt work right
Motherboard monitor lists all 0s for the temperatures of the computer for the cpus and case and such. It obviously isnt 0. The bios seems to read the correct calues (around 30some celcius under almost no load as its not really doing anything). it would be nice to get some real temp readings somehow ...

you can buy things to do this but buying things tends to be the less cool way of doing things. all you need to do is create a voltage regulator which can be done by using a variable resistor to eat some of the voltage for the fans. of course this would lessen your cooling power but i guess you would...

i dont know actually, its one of the many random free things i got (the bp6 was another) and so well i ended up pulling my linksys network card out of my p3-500 system and using that instead. I have a new problem now of motherboard monitor not working as it lists all 0s for the temperatures. I dont ...

Ok I got WinXP to install and the system working almost how its suppose to. For some reason though it thinks i only have half the ram that i do (and yes my ram is only single sided) which i think might have to do with the error it gave me earlier. Also my ISA network card needs a driver and i do not...

Cannot get computer to install Windows
So i finally built my system and started it up. I have my IBM Deskstar connected to the white ports (i think thats the Highpoint controller) and the DVD drive conencted to the black ports (the regular ide ports for the motherboard i guess). On turning the compouter on, this happens. VGA BIOS comes u...

Most linux apps are smart enough to use both processors as they are mostly smp aware (assuming you have built your kernel to support it). Also almost all BeOS apps are smp capable and BeOS itself is silky smooth with dual processors. Its really worth buying BeOS (or waiting the agonizing long time f...

How many slots can be used
Has anyone used all the slots on the motherboard at the same time and had the thing run stable. I already am going to use 3 of the pci slots and one of the isa slots and am thinking of buying a ide raid card instead of using the hpt controller and well i was wondering how well it would work out. on ...

Ok well my school has an installfest where we went and install linux onto peoples computers. Since i was one of those that helped out, i got to pick any parts out of a box i wanted and well i found a bp6 motherboard in the box and instantly took it. I want to build a really good cheap computer from ...

40gb ibm 60gxp
I just got a abit bp6 for free. I am trying to build a decent workstation out of it for a small amount of money. I bought a 40gb ibm deskstar 60gxp hard drive for it. I found this site and have read all these horrible things about the hpt controller. It would be nice to get a raid 0 though. thing is...
