8mm DDS

I've just been given 80, 8mm DDS tapes (Sony QG112MA). Does any one know what these can be used for. Is there a back up drive, if so what type/model, I've looked on Ebay and the net but there seems to be loads of different types! Are they ok with 8mm digital video cams? Please help, they look so cut...

GM issued a press release

In response to...

I was running 2x400 Celys at 550 till about 3 months ago, untill I switched to a 1ghz Pentiun 3(1ghz@1100ghz/110fsb with Neo). The boost in raw power, Sandra, games etc was cool but the loss of smoothness and responce in genral was a real pain. I'm waiting for another P3 and some mods. SMP can not b...

I hate to rain on your parade but if u check out" 2cpu.com" you will find the days of non Xeon SMP are upon us. With 64 bit and threaded P4/AMD CPU's about to arrive, it seems that the bubble is about to burst on cheap SMP!
