Running on an ADSL connection at home here - shared with my housemate over the LAN which keeps the cost down. 512 down, 256 up. Works really well. Could never go back to a 56k modem now, no way.

Hello again - thought I'd run the system flat out for a few hours and see what happens to the temps. So, I booted into beos and ran two copies of Distributed Protein Folding Client. dual celeron 500's @ 600mhz

7.5x multiplier @80mhz FSB - system stable under BeOS (with hlt enabled) and under windows XP (with CPUIdle) - temps under load are 36 degrees C and 39 degrees C. ;o)

BeOS and BP6 rock's da house

Okie doke - just got me a BP6 off eBay and built a new pc around it - chucked my BeOS disk in from my old box, booted up and everything works like a charm - marvellous!!! ;o)
