Celerons faster than 533 Mhz are Celeron IIs. The Celeron II will NOT SMP. A single Celeron II will work with a PowerLeap NEO S370 adapter.

When using the 80-pin cable, make sure the blue connector is plugged into IDE3 or IDE4 and the black connector is plugged into the hard drive. Set the hard drive for "Cable Select".

If you know your power supply is good, try one CPU in the socket next to the RAM. One stick of RAM in DIMM1 (the socket closest to the CPU). Video card and no hard drives or CDROMs or any other PCI cards. Make sure the Clear CMOS jumper is on pins 1-2. If this works, try adding other components one ...

You may be able to run at 110 Mhz FSB. With heavy modificaions, you may be able to reach 124 Mhz FSB. Maybe.

I think one of Intel's biggest advantages in bringing product to the masses, is volume. Volume not quality and/or performance. Intel has been riding their own wave for a long time. Hopefully, AMD will show the masses there is a better product. Now, the masses need to awaken from their Intel dreamlan...
