that would be a lot of Win98SE using only one cpu
and Win2k trying to use two.
which, I think, would be mostly the extra load on the BX and the getting it cooled properly.
or extra extra properly.!!!

you can't join a forum, and post a for sale
especially with the word participating

you can ctl-D the main part
though i can't see that in the new version
the new version uses scaling.

that would only matter if you had two vga cards .
it'll try both if the AGP is missing

is there a new BP6 related bios file that needs uploading ?

I'd be guessing that any files would go into the Misc section so that some brainy bod could vet it before posting it into a category.

also, posts take a while, an upload would take longer.
did you wait enough ?

do you have an exisiting win2k system on this system and you are now adding another PCI card in later ? this can be very hard if the numbering system gets altered ..... ide0,1,2,3 won't change much but an add-in card might mess with your HPT drive by re-numbering it ..... which is why I keep saying,...

if you use a PnP card, you can change the IRQ being used from the control panel and the (obvious) tricks if you need more IRQs Com Ports off LPT off USB Irq off also, disable the FDD. PCI4&5, I think they should co-habitate a shared IRQ, like it can do in Windows.... but not if both cards do Bus-Mas...

if it's ISA PnP it 'should/might' work, I think ....
if it's got jumpers on it, don't hold out too much hope for it.

there is some HAL for win2k on microsofts site, i think ..... if it's not on the list, forget about it.

check the \root directory for
\found.000 entries
if your drive is playing up and losing entries, you will be getting unbound disk sectors
which will be found by scandisk

the FX 5200 is quite alright as a vga card
and if it's for your BP6, I think you'll run out of cpu to run the game before you run out of VGA capability.

I think it will work fine, underclocked. mind, I can underclock my AGP access with my 8x card if I wanted to. But I wouldn't. It'll run as fast as it can, that is 4x just be sure to check the specs on voltage requirements between your card and your mobo. though I think that horrible caveat was more ...

the new one won't fit a BP6.
it's made for those "plenty of space around the edges" P4 sockets.
100mm by 24mm

maybe we could file the edges of both of them, and have one fan going in reverse
so that they cog together ......
