http://members.cox.net/gregalmon/search.gif Its all here, on this very site! You've come this far, read the threads, or the site. Short answer, supposedly, with some other modifications you can run dual p3s on the bp6. I say just get a new mb, and keep the bp6 with dual cellies or one neo and a cop...

Re: Is the 533 Overclockable??
I can reliably overclock my 366s to 458 w/ the FSB cranked up to 83 but any more than that and it won't even post. I've seen some 533's on Ebay and the internet for about $35 bucks. I want to get a little more umph but if I can't overclock the 533s then it really isn't worth it to drop 70 bucks for...

kuun, the PSUs are $10 each plus shipping which is exactly what I got them for. I am not making a dime, I just don't need them, and my roommate just moved out, effectively doubling my rent, unless I find some one to move in. This sucks because I own the house (3 family), but I have to pay rent becau...

kuun: Maybe this should go in the classified thread, but I have some brand new el cheapo 400 watt ATX PSUs. The brand is duro. I think their claim of 400 is a little high, but the two I've used have been fine. I can let them go for $10 a pop plus actual shipping by USPS priority from 02861. LMK, if...

flashfix : How long can you run the latest Prime95 on torure test, set to the combination of all tests (middle button when choosing)? I have 2 400MHz celerons, and at 92fsb (lowest you can go and still get 3/1 pci divider) and 2.1 volts, the system is rock stable. But if I put a network card in (IS...

Edit:got 2 400s|WTB/TF: 2 x Celeron 366 ppga, 550 capable
EDIT:Got two matched retail 400s,ones upopened I think. I hope I have good luck with these, ala 600Mhz. I'll post my results when they get here and get installed. Title says it all, but a little background. I acquired a BP6 mobo bundled with a fcpga 566 celeron/adapter. It runs excellently. I then w...

Glad I read this thread, I just got a new tx2 shipped to me from another forum forsale thread, and was planning on using it in my bp6. So I gotta flash the bios that removes the bios splashscreen ( I am aware device may still show up in device manager, thats ok). My question is this: Does the versio...

That looks like it might work, I see three clips in the newegg pic. And it should clear the caps, as its a 60mm heastsink. Let us know how you make out.

Well, I certainly will try all that out. I just fixed a "the system has recovered from a serious error" infinite loop. Probably muck with the ram some tomorrow. The crucial stick is 256mb pc133 cl2, so it should have no problems at 100fsb cl2, but its running at 3 right now, along with the kingston ...

Ram timings help!
Alright, I have a bp6 with a celemine 566 at 850 right now. I am using one stick crucial 256mb pc133 cl2, and one kingston valueram 256mb pc133, unknow lat. I cannot set the memory at anything other than 3. The board has a cap soldered piggyback to one cap in between the two cpu sockets, along the t...
RRledford, I have the same visiontek cinema card in my hometheater box, a duron 1100/asus a7n266-vm/256ddr creation. I haven't tried to record since the last build, but I also have win xp as the os and was wondering if you can give me any hints on this card on an win xp box. What problems did you en...

Nice rig. Its like a monster. I wouldn't call it a cube, though, just two generic mid towers stuck together. Good job though. My rig is just a secondary rig running whatever I don't want to burden my main/gaming rig with. Things like eMule, SmartFTP, and of course Distributed Folding! For the ammoun...

I am waiting for a visiontek 'everything' nvidia personal cinema to be shipped to me. I am going to use it in my MicroATX casper II/nForce/Duron box for tv/etc, but I may try it in the bp6 first for kicks, while I finish improving the airflow in the casper case. I'll post my findings if/when I try i...
