I have a Inno3D GF2 MX400 64MB card that worked in my BP6 if I recall correctly. Used it in the first pci slot right under the AGP slot. I'll try it again next time I have the machine together (apart right now, needed case for my new VP6 dual 850@1.1gig machine).

I had no luck getting sensors working when I had linux on my bp6. When I get one of my bp6s back from repair I think I'll go the linux route again, and this time I'll remember to post here for help!

Another possible reason for differing temps is if the temp sensing diodes under the sockets are at differing heights... one is touching the back of the cpu and the other just misses it by a hair. I guess you can carefully bend them up, but be extra careful not to break it off.

Re: $6.00 PPGA 366 Celeron

I'm looking for an ABIT TS-20 motherboard. If anyone knows anything about this board or where I can find some please Thanks I saw that motherboard on compgeeks.com, but now they have it bundled with an 833 P3 only. Its a good deal at 78 bucks, but not if you already have a cpu. Search it on pricewa...

I'd take 2 or 4 if not enough people were interested. I can always ebay off my 400s and my 466s to cover them.

davd_bob, that link is not the one I am talking about. The guy on Ars Technica used his own case and everything. I found an old thread, but it was as he was building it, and really didn't show too much. I think he did have 67 of the overdrives in there, I will keep searching for it, and if I can't f...

Read the bottom of the page

You don't have to pay the $25, the email you get asking for it is just a leftover email from before. They told me not to worry about it.

yeah, its a recall, and basically they call it an extended warranty.. they said when I fill out the rma it will email a request for $25, this does not apply to the bp6 because its a recalled product. The rep said not to send the money because they don't want it, and they can't refund it or something...

Ah yes, the Jackcon caps are bulging, but is the other ones (the green ones) that are exploded everywhere, so I can't expect them to replace caps they didn't make. Called the abit rma dept., they consider the bp6 a recall, and will reapair/replace the board for free, and they said I could ship USPS ...

Yeah, I noticed that the winning bidder had mucho sales of ram/p3s/mobos/etc, he just bids on combos and splits them up. Not anything inherently wrong with it, but in this case, I agree. You would've thought ppl would have bid at least 100 for the ram alone, that guy almost got away with murder. Lik...
