You are right it's a shame, but i think that the thread handlin of *nix is better than Windows...can't wait until the FreeBSD port will arrive...the little devil will surely kick some ass 8)

Maybe there will be point release with the magical "+set r_smp 1" option... :wink:

It's running on my BP6 in 640x480 on Ultra Settings with 20FPS in Timedemo1....but it only uses one CPU...i hope that the Linux will give a better SMP support...

Damn, Doom III doesn't have SMP support....here's what activision told me:

If you are asking if Doom 3 has Multi-Processor support, then the answer is no. You will gain no beniefits running two processors over one in this game.

It's a shame... :cry:

Hi! I've got a problem with my Mobo. Since i broke my first BP6 i was never able to get my dual P3/1100MHz work at 100MHz FSB again(Tried 3 other BP6 boards). When i hit 90MHz i get RAM errors all the time and my systems is crashing instantly when i hit 93MHz FSB. Also my VTT is only 1,45 to 1,47 Vo...
