I just rebooted and saw the blue hpt 366 ver. 1.28 screen. Of course ctrl-H does nothing and it isn't mentioned in the device manager, but I do get the nifty blue screen for a second while booting.

Dupe post about recognizing Ultra ATA and 200gb hd

**This is also posted in the Bios section** please don't stab me. I'm just not sure if it's a bios issue or not. I'm a novice that's almost got my puter how I want it. Most of it couldn't have been done without this site. Now all I have left is to add my 200gb hd for movie storage. I would rather re...

512 mb sdram shows as 256

I know that's the limit for each individual stick. Just thought it was odd that it would still recognize the 512 stick and just convert it to a 256. Guess no ones found a way around the 512mb stick or 768mb 3 stick barrier huh? Guess it saves me from having to get another stick of 256. sucks having ...

Which Bios for a Ultra ATA 133

I'm a novice that's almost got my puter how I want it. Most of it couldn't have been done without this site. Now all I have left is to add my 200gb hd for movie storage. I would rather recognize it whole, but if I have to chop it in half I guess I will. As it stands my 3rd and 4th ide slots aren't r...

Tried it all. Slots were good, card just wouldn't work in 'em. Just went back and got the AGP version of the same card. Works fine. Thanks for the suggestions though.

I bought it NIB. Tried all 5 slots. Stripped the board to barebones. Just don't know if anyone has had any luck with this card. I'd hate to get another one if I'm just overlooking something. When you guys install a new graphics card what do you normally do? Maybe I'm just missing a step or two.

Screwed up

Alright. I have an ATI 128 card in my BP6. I normally bring my cpu to work and attach it to a different monitor. I brought it to work yesterday and now it visually hangs. After the XP screen goes to black it hangs. The CPU boots and I can login. I can hear it and see the HD activity light. The only ...

Unrecognized GeForce MX4000

I've tried every slot. Every graphics setting. Uninstalling pre existing drivers. Installing the software before and after the card, but I still can't get past the beep code for video error while powering on. Has anyone managed to get this card to work on their BP6?

Framebuf and L1 Cache lockup. Hurting bad

I've been toying with this mobo for a while now and it's got me on the ropes. This one two punch is wearing me down. It's fast for a minute or two then I lockup if I've enabled L1 caching. But, it moves dead slow without it. All right. I'll install slowly. Very slowly. But now I get the framebuf err...
