Although the BeOS seems dead, it really is not. It still has a future.

I installed BeOS 5 once on the BP6 and it worked like a charm... :D
If you don't know what to do with your (old and obsolete :wink: ) BP6, give it a try!

System runs quite stable, but will lock-up once in a while for no apparent reason. Or it maybe the RC5-client that is running since januari 2000 :? :wink:
Temperature is around 50 degrees Celsius with the distributed.net client running.

I would say your power-supply needs a vacation... :wink:
Try another one and see how it works out.

Also, I've read somewhere that some BP6's suffer from leaking capacitors... :( You could check that.

Did you overclock anything on your BP6?

Mine locks up once in a while when I push my two Celeron 366@550.

It doesn't crash, just freezes. I have an old Diamond Viper V550 in it, but it also locks up with a G400.

Did you try lowering the AGP-speed?
