Just one for me for now. Hey, can we count VP6 also? I want one of those too. When I discovered BP6s existed on eBay I emailed a guy that had bought a couple and I think he already had like 4 already. He was setting up or adding to his server farm. He turned me on to BP6.com. Gosh, maybe "he" is one...

before I learned the difference between ppga and fc-pga i got one of those Via C3s. It worked in a ppga 370socket. Sort of. 27 Dec 2003 the power suply break and let 220 to ALL (2xHDD burned, 1 chip ot BP6 burned but was repaired) Since being repaired has the BP6 booted all the way into the OS. If that power cord thing doesn't do the trick for you maybe you need to swap the psu. If there is a weakness in the psu...Windows is a power hog while booting up, but it might take a while to overheat a weak regulator when you are just looking at the BOIS. Does it smell funny? Try a different one psu.
