(I feel so ignorant...)Ok, I am a network engineer, not too intmate with Linux...

I would need step-by-step instructs...

besides, how can I edit a file if the OS wont boot up?

HPT366 Linux Drivers

I have a problem with installing Linux... First, I tried Mandrake 9.2 which did not detect the HPT366 at all, however, Mandrake 7.0 will see it, make a bootdisk for it, and go thru the entire install process. But when it goes to boot for the first time, it says that it cannot find any mounted drives...
