Though the forthcoming ATI cards won't do Pixel Shader 3.0... which is what makes the NV40 quite so dribble tastic as it does PS3.0 and even with it on, the speed is miles ahead of everything else.

But we'll find out come May when ATI launches their new bay.

How fast is that disk subsystem?

I am planning on building something like that for a workstation to replace my dually P3 700.... though maybe a bit less nuts on the SCSI drives.

.. and I'd picked a Supermicro board instead of a Tyan. Though Tyans are nice to, having owned a Tyan based comp too.
