Derek - Changing the battery didn't fix it. Also Windows XP shows both CPUs in TaskManager.

Dave - The problem is, I don't change from default. Could it be that the BIOS thinks one of my CPUs is bad? But isn't!

I'm not sure what to do next. Any suggestions?

If you unplugged the computer, it could mean that your CMOS battery is weak.
Gives me the same error after EVERY reboot. Didn't think about the battery. Gives me some hope! Thanks!!

CPU is unworkable or has been changed.

When I boot up now (using RV BIOS) I get the following line after the CPU is displayed: CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Please recheck - CPU SOF MENU. F1 to continue. Del... blah blah blah ------------------- Anyway if I F1 it seems that I don't have a problem, I have the speed set to default...

I installed the RV BIOS and it went well - EXCEPT, I cannot get to the BIOS setup. I hit the DEL key many many times and it just wants to boot to the A: drive (like I set it up to flash the ROM). Do I need to flash it back?

forget that round underperforming ORB thing. Get the EverCool CUD 715 or CUD 725 100% copper HSF. Then chuck the bundled 70mm fans & replace with the ones from Y.S.Tech with no motor in the center - they have two models one quiet 4500RPM & one luder 5200RPM. The CUD-725 has the better wide clip. How quiet is Thermaltake Dragon Orb 3 ?

Will these work ok (quiet) on the BP6? I found them here: http://store.yahoo.com/nexfan03/thdrorb3.html

Has anyone got a better (quieter) HSK/Fan combo for the BP6?
