Thanks for the explanation... I have two brands: 1 maxtor diamondmax 9 and 1 seagate barracuda. The first harddisk was running perfectly with an old bios (1.28 ), but the second disk wasn't recognised... After upgrading to v1.30B the disk was recognised and their both running perfectly under windows...
