It would "undo" all the changes since the last restore (like, uninstall programs, undo directory changes, and erase new files). I now only have System Restore monitor my sy...

Hmm, now that I read more fully how your drives were set up, I noticed that the second drive has large avi's on it. Windows by default tries to preview avi files and can cause problems if the AVI is not "perfect." Worth a shot: Delete the key "InProcServer32" from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes...

The HPT should be under "SCSI & RAID Controllers" (twice, one for each IDE connector) in the Device Manager... It sounds like you might have to install the drivers for your HPT?

Hmm, make sure all drives are using DMA and not PIO mode? I've never used a controller card, so not sure how that affects the modes of IDE devices.

Nope, No BP6 (or any other board) will run those cellies in dual. Celeron II's just won't do dual.

Before doing anything drastic, try swapping the two CPUs to see if it boots. I've seen posted that this fixed some problems with dual setups.

I use Fido's Pay as You Go, as I don't really have conversations on it. Its primary use is syncing up with friends on where/when to meet or calling taxi's. Once I get to where I'm headed and the gang's all there, off it goes. I don't use it to receive calls much at all.
